Un réalisateur m’a dit un jour : «Lorsque je fais un film, j’ai toujours une musique dans la tête…». Cet adage, je l’ai gardé pour moi. Il y a en effet pas de grands films sans une musique digne de ce nom. Cela donne un ton, une couleur et surtout une rythmique au montage.

Je me souviens avoir passé une soirée chez Christian Vander, nous avions regardé le film “[bout de l’enfer](Voyage au)(http://www.allocine.fr/film/fichefilm_gen_cfilm=29714.html)". Une fois terminé, Simon Goubert s’était mis au piano et avait joué “I love you babe”, un morceau qui illustre une séquence culte du film. Dans un bar autour d’un billard, on y retrouve Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, John Cazale et John Savage en train de chanter le morceau à tue-tête… Un moment de frivolité avant de rentrer dans le dur.
